Ian James

Ian is the Regional Head of IT & Telecoms with Talent Partners in the Middle East, based in Dubai. Following an early career in electronic engineering, Ian joined Ferranti Computer Systems (UK) as a Systems Engineer. He then moved into recruitment with a publicly listed firm in the UK in 1989, successfully establishing and running a Software Engineering vertical market within the organisation.

Ian migrated to Australia in 1996, joining Morgan & Banks/TMP Worldwide with responsibility for Technology recruitment. He was a significant contributor in the development and growth of the Morgan & Banks Technology brand (MBT) that became recognised as #1 in the Australian market by 2001. He established his own IT&T specialist recruitment firm in 2002, which was acquired by Talent2 International in 2003. At Talent2, Ian was Practice Manager for IT&T, managing a team of specialized Consultants and executing senior assignments across Australasia.

In 2008 Ian moved to the Middle East and retains his IT&T specialization working on Regional Management and Senior Sales roles in the IT sector as well as CIO and senior IT appointments.
